I kept the old cv shaft so I may replace the boot as my retirement project in about 10 years. 50,000 miles and still going strong. WebOct 6, 2011 · If RCV would simply drill a grease hole in the outer shaft, like they do on the smaller axles, it would be so great. I would recommend this to them, but they do not seem very open to new information..or even very aware of what they are actually selling.

WebNov 23, 2012 · As for the correct seals, check with RCV and make sure the stock ones are correct fro your axle shafts. I know for a while Superior had an issue with their shafts' sealing area being slightly too small for the stock sealds. RCV may have a different requirement.
